Born on April 27, 2005, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Kelvin’s life, though brief, was marked by purpose, promise, and a spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

A proud graduate of Dorman High School, Class of 2023, Kelvin distinguished himself early as both a student and an athlete. Known for his discipline and determination, he became a standout defensive lineman, earning respect on and off the field. His commitment to excellence opened doors for him at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where he continued his football career while pursuing a degree in electrical engineering—a testament to his ambition and intellect.

At North Carolina A&T, Kelvin’s presence extended far beyond athletics. He was admired for his humility, strong character, and unwavering integrity. Teammates and peers described him as respectful, focused, and full of life—someone who carried himself with quiet confidence and genuine kindness. His involvement in mentorship initiatives, including youth-focused programs, reflected his desire to uplift others and give back to his community.

Tragically, Kelvin’s life was cut short following a motorcycle accident. Reports indicate that he lost control of his bike and died at the scene, just days before his 21st birthday. His sudden passing has left an indescribable void, particularly for his mother, Latoya Robinson Lyles, who had been preparing to celebrate his upcoming milestone.
